On Tuesday, philanthropic singer Jaguar, came to the rescue of a Form Four candidate who disparately needed over Sh94, 000 in fees arrears before he would sit for his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams, which are due to start next week.
Jaguar learned of the poor plight of the Alliance High School candidate Rainson Ouma over the weekend and immediately cancelled his birthday party celebrations so as to save the cash to clear the fees.
The candidate is from a humble background and has been living with his grandmother in Kakamega. It was joyful shock for the boy and his classmates as Jaguar drove into the school on Tuesday afternoon before proceeding to clear the entire balance.
