ICC: Uhuru, Ruto won't be arrested at The Hague


Nairobi - The International Criminal Court (ICC) Spokesman Fadi El Abdallah has assured President Uhuru Kenyatta, his deputy William Ruto and Joshua Sang that they will not be detained at The Hague.

According to Abdallah, the three whose trials are set to start at The Hague, will return to the country when the court is not in session, Daily Nation reports..

He said there were no warrants of arrest issued against them since they have been cooperating with the court. Trial for Ruto and Sang is set for September 10 while that of President Kenyatta is on November 12.
