Popular TV series 24 is set to make a major comeback in May 2014, but with some changes from what we are used to.
The show will be called 24: Live Another Day and it will feature the return of both Kiefer Sutherland, Mary Lynn Rajskub (Chloe in the series) and writer Howard Gordon. That (sadly) will be the only familiar thing about the new season, other familiar things – like 24's real time roll-out – have been scrapped. The show is switching from episodes that highlighted one hour in a day of Jack Bauer's life to 12 regular episodes, much like most drama series.
According to the Chairman of FOX Entertainment Kevin Reilly, this will be the final season of the show (yea that's what you said the last time, we don't believe you).
Nobody is more excited about this news than i am (Hi, my name is Tony and i'm addicted to 24), but i'm not sure that i like how much they have changed things around. The real time aspect of the show is what set it apart from every other drama series. Take that away and there's no real difference between 24 and Homeland.
